Registration Deadline. Registration forms MUST be received by the Key Colony Beach Marina by 5 p.m. Payment in full must accompany all registration forms. Make checks payable to Capt. Leon Shell Sailfish Tournament. A late registration fee of $100 per boat applies to all entries submitted after 5 p.m. on March 1, 2010. Late registration ($100 late fee applies) at Key Colony Beach Marina from 4 to 6 p.m. MANDATORY Captains meeting at Sparky’s Landing, Key Colony Beach Marina, at 7:30 p.m. One member of each team MUST attend, either the Captain or any other team member.
Saturday and Sunday, March 5th and March 6th, 2011
This is a two-day tournament. Lines in at 8 a.m. on Saturday; 7 a.m. on Sunday. Lines out at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday; 2:30 p.m. on Sunday Weigh-in at Key Colony Beach Marina for contending weight fish. Scales open from 3:30 to 6 p.m. on Saturday; 2:30 to 5 on Sunday.

Awards Banquet at Sparky’s Landing, Key Colony Beach Marina, begins at 6 p.m. Dinner, awards, prize drawings and a raffle. Meal tickets for non-anglers available at Sparky’s Landing.
Entry Fees
This tournament is a boat tournament. Entry fees are $500 per boat, which covers the Captain and one angler. The entry fee for each additional angler is $150. Each boat is allowed unlimited anglers, but only four lines may be fished.
Awards
The boat that catches and releases the most Sailfish will be awarded Tournament Grand Champion. There are awards for the top three boats. The angler catching and releasing the most Sailfish will be awarded Top Angler. There are additional awards for the second and third place anglers. Weight Fish Divisions – Dolphin, Kingfish, Tuna and Wahoo – are awarded a plaque and $250 each for first place only.
Junior Division Awards
Junior Division prizes are $1,000, $500 and $300 academic scholarships and a trophy for first through third places in the Sailfish Division. The Junior angler catches count toward the boat’s total. Prizes for largest Dolphin, Kingfish, Tuna and Wahoo are $100 cash and a trophy for each division.
